About

Hello — I’m Paul.

I work with people who feel stuck, unsettled, or not quite themselves — without being rushed or reduced to a diagnosis.

Belief

A belief that we all carry the capacity for change.

My name is Paul Sines, and I created reconnection from the belief that we all carry the capacity for change, growth, and a movement towards wholeness — towards our authentic selves. Change doesn’t always happen quickly, and it rarely follows a straight line. But with the right support, understanding, and conditions, it can happen.

Training & accreditation

Trauma-Informed Recovery & Transformative Coach (Animas London) · EMCC Senior Practitioner · EMDR-Practitioner (EMDR Centre London) · Humanistic Integrative Counsellor (in training)

Story

Some of this I understand from the inside.

Alongside my formal training, my approach is shaped by lived experience. I know first-hand the realities of trauma, anxiety, addiction and recovery, and the non-linear path back towards regulation, self-awareness, and purpose. That experience taught me that change is rarely about being fixed — it’s about being met, understood, and supported to reconnect with what is already there.

My own journey taught me that there is no single path. Our experiences may share common threads, but every story is unique. That’s why I try to meet each person with curiosity, compassion, and respect for where they are today.

How I work

Steady, collaborative, and led by your pace — not mine.

My training and experience have come together into a grounded, integrated way of working — combining nervous-system awareness, psychological insight, and compassionate presence. My role isn’t to lead you, but to walk beside you as you regulate, restore, reinhabit, reclaim, and reimagine what your life can be.

Training & scope

Trauma-informed coaching and EMDR-informed work. Not EMDR therapy on its own, not a crisis service, not a diagnosis. Where something sits outside what I offer, I’ll say so and point you somewhere more appropriate.

if any of this resonates —

I’d love to start a conversation.

No expectation, no obligation. A first conversation is simply somewhere to begin.
