crisis support
If you need help right now.
This page is here for moments that feel urgent or unsafe. reconnection is not a crisis service, and I'm not able to offer emergency or out-of-hours support — but the services below are, they're free, and they're there for exactly this.
In an emergency — if your life or someone else's is at risk
- Call 999, or go to your nearest A&E.

- Samaritans — call 116 123. Free, any time, for anyone struggling to cope or in distress. You can also email jo@samaritans.org.
- Shout — text SHOUT to 85258. Free, confidential, 24/7 text support if you'd rather not speak on the phone.
Also there for you

If we're already working together and something feels urgent between sessions, please use the services above — they're staffed around the clock in a way I'm not. When you're ready, we can pick things up together again.
